Mike Kilbourn, CLU, ChFC, CCIM, AEP, MSFS, president of Kilbourn Associates, Naples, Florida, has over 30 years experience as a family wealth transfer planning specialist and holds over 20 professional designations.
Mike is also the founder and chairman of the Wealth Protection Network®, a national network of estate planning professionals that work in concert to create and manage comprehensive estate plans. A decorated veteran of Vietnam, Mike Kilbourn earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, four Masters degrees, including a Master of Business Administration – cum laude – from Western Michigan University and a Master of Science in Financial Services from the American College. Mike is also a Fellow of the Esperti Peterson Institute, an Adjunct Professor of the Academy of Multidisciplinary Practice and a member of Beta Gamma Sigma Scholastic Honorary Fraternity.
Mike established his estate and wealth strategies practice in the early 1990s after an eighteen-year career in commercial real estate, syndication and real estate securities. Since he began his practice, he has earned the insurance industry’s prestigious “Top of the Table” award virtually every year.
